John and Steve, better known as The Hobomen, are two minor characters in Spooky Month resembling the character's of the same name from Tankmen.
Biography[]
Spooky Month 4 - Deadly Smiles[]
In Deadly Smiles, the two are seen in the alleyway after the Happy Fella leaves the theatre, although they just think they're drunk. Later, the two are seen in the same alleyway as Steve brings John a bottle of piss, John drinks it and then the two make out.
Spooky Month 5 - Tender Treats[]
In Tender Treats, the two of them can be seen in the background sitting around a large pot of some sort before making out while Robert asks Skid and Pump for candy.
Spooky Month: Hollow Sorrows[]
In Hollow Sorrows, the two can be seen making a deal with Mayor Evermore to destroy a building at the cost of what is initially 2 beers, but they only agree to do it if he gives them 5 beers.
Appearance[]
The Hobomen wear dark blue trapper hats and pants, white safety vests with black shirts underneath, and black boots. Their outfits differ in their choice of eye-wear and gloves, with John wearing ski goggles and tan mittens, while Steve wears welding goggles and tan rubber gloves.

Trivia[]
- It is shown that Steve likes filling their alcohol bottle with his own urine for John to drink. However, John is fully aware of the prank, but likes to drink it anyway.
- It is implied that they are gay as they could be seen making out a few times in the episodes and in the background in Tender Treats.
- In Hollow Sorrows, captions refer to The Hobomen as "Hobomen 8" and "Hobomen B", in reference to their goggle shapes.
