Plot[]
The episode starts with a man walking into an abandoned house, he walks up to a mirror with a knife and sharpener in his hand as he grins in front of said mirror. His name is Bob Velseb, a notorious serial killer who is known for killing, dismembering and eating his victims. He recently escaped from prison and an angry Mayor Evermore yells at John and Jack for not doing anything to put a stop to this. He rings in Patty to come into his office to discuss how serious the situation is. Mayor Evermore lets the two officers know that he wants them to catch Bob tonight, because if not, they will be replaced. John tries to get the Mayor to let them investigate the Mysterious Cult that has been going around town instead as they can't handle the situation by themselves, plus his house was burn because of one of them. But Mayor Evermore refuses to compromise and demands them to get going.
Meanwhile at Skid's house he happily shouts and jumps on Lila's bed telling her to get up because today is Spooky Month. A groggy Lila wakes up and tells him to get ready before falling back asleep. An excited Skid then goes over to call Pump to see if he is ready for Spooky Month, to which he happily replies that he is, and even asks his sister Susie if she wants to join too. To which she refuses believing Pump is playing a prank on her. Pump arrives at Skid's house in a flash and the two kids head out to do some trick or treating with Lila telling them to have some fun and bring back a lot of candy. However, she then notices the silhouette of a man in a devil costume, standing underneath the streetlamp. She immediately recognizes him as Bob, the man who attempted to kill her awhile back. She quickly calls Jaune for assistance who at first believes that it is a guy who likes her. But when Lila tells her its "the devil guy who ATTACKED me long ago!" Jaune tries to calm her friend down by claiming it could be someone else. But Lila soon discovers that Bob Velseb had just broken into her house and tries to attack her. Lila tries to slow him down by offering a piece of candy (to which he takes and eats) and even doing the spooky dance, (to which Bob also repeats too) but to no avail. With no other choice, Lila quickly grabs a lemon and threatens to squeeze it, to which Bob laughs and taunts her for attempting to "season him". Lila then quickly squeezes the lemon, and its juice landed into Bob's eyes, stinging him. She also uses some ground pepper, bacon (the grease), and a frying pan to use as weapons to defend herself before quickly running up to the attic. Bob goes up there and searches for her but is unable to find her. Lila quickly runs back downstairs to call the police and John and Jack later arrive to handle the situation. But when they head up to the attic to confront Bob, they find out that he is gone. A shocked Lila quickly realizes that he is going after her son and Pump and quickly rushes out of the house to find them. She mistakes another trick or treater wearing a similar devil costume for Bob and attacks him but Jack stops her from continuing.
As the two argue with one another, Pump and Skid happily trick or treat at some of the houses. At the first house, they use some hammers to knock on the door, and an angry Ignacio snaps at them for damaging his door. But the two of them respond back by giving devilish looks while whining for Ignacio to give them candy. He bitterly does so, and the two of them go onto to trick or treat at other houses. They narrowly miss getting splash on by holy water from Father Gregor and the two of them decide to head off to both the haunted forest and the haunted house next. At the haunted house, they are greeted by Streber who shows them how he's a real vampire before allowing them to go inside. After the two of them go inside, Bob Velseb walks up behind him. Streber mistakes him for a guest and asks him if he wants to get a trick, to which Bob responds back by giving him a fact about meat before attacking a confused Streber off-screen. Inside the house we see various guests go through the haunted house, some were scared, Pump and Skid cheered and laugh, while Bob simply walked through the house while eating a piece of rib (One of Streber's body parts). Once Pump and Skid leave the place, they find Streber lying on the porch in a pool of blood, whimpering and silently begging them to help him, but the two mistake him as a costume prop/actor and they leave to get more candy.
Back at Skid's house, Jack and John advise Lila to stay indoors to ensure her safety, she agrees but requests the two to find Skid and Pump, they ask her for their costumes. But when she told them they wore a skeleton and a pumpkin costume respectively...almost everyone outside is wearing a similar costume as them. So, they told her they'll handle it themselves. As they leave, she quickly rushes outside and calls Juane to help her out. Meanwhile, Skid and Pump are trying to find more houses to trick or treat at when decide to instead head to the Candy Club to get candy from Kevin. However, they bump into Frank along the way, the two asks him if he could take them to the Candy Club but he refuses, claiming he's on "vacation" and leaves while also stealing sacks of candy. Left with no other choice, the two continue walking.
At the Candy Club, Kevin and a newly hired Rick handle a very arrogant customer named Carmen who demands the two of them to get her two pieces of every candy in the store, to which they reluctantly do. Once Pump and Skid arrive, Kevin immediately demands the two of them to leave due to the massive number of troubles they caused at the candy store. Skid and Pump reply back with confusion, so Kevin had to remind them what they did while recapping the events from the previous episodes, and even points out at the "obvious" trouble that they always bring. He notices Bob and points out the trouble they brought, before realizing the seriousness of the situation. Bob confronts the three of them as Kevin does his best to protect Pump and Skid, Rick then comes back in and quits as soon as he sees Bob leaving them to deal with the situation. Kevin quickly dispenses some candy from the machines to make Bob trip on them, but it doesn't work and ends up tripping himself. And while Bob didn't trip on any of the candy, he does however get distracted and eats some of them. This gives Skid and Pump enough time to help Kevin up to his knees as they quickly rush out the back of the store. As Bob tries to continue pursuing them, he gets the urge to use the restroom. He finds one but the unoccupied stall doesn't have toilet paper. He then goes into another stall where a certain fellow is in and kills him so he can use the stall. Skid and Pump pleaded an infuriated Kevin for some candy cans to which he silently gives them a box full of candy and points for them to leave. Rick comes back and asks Kevin if he deals stuff like this every day, to which he claims he kind of does. But then a person in a devil costume comes by, believing it's Bob, Kevin quickly throws some candy at him. But it's revealed to be the same man that Lila attacked before. He was simply going to tell them that kids were stealing candy and was not trying to harm them in any way.
Meanwhile, the Hatzgang are out trick or treating but Roy doesn't have a costume while his friends Ross and Robert do. They suggest that they try to find a costume somewhere close by. And that gives Roy the idea to steal two kids' costumes. He took the coat off a kid who is dressed up as Sans and the hat of a kid who dressed up as Boyfriend. After telling them to back off, Roy puts on his "costume": a rapper. Ross and Robert are not a fan of it because it isn't scary, but before they can continue arguing, the trio notice Pump and Skid carrying the box of candy they got and stop them. Roy tries to bully them to get them to give them some candy, but Ross pulls him aside. As the two of them argue, Robert asks Pump and Skid politely if they can have some candy as he wants to get some for his sick sister. So, they agree and the Hatzgang get their share of candy from the duo. (Much more than others). As the Hatzgang talk amongst each other to get more candy, they encounter Bob who terrifies them with a creepy fact about blood which made them shiver in fright. As Bob leaves with their candy, they discuss how could they make up for their lost candy. But then a black car pulls up beside them, turns out Roy's parents Richard and Carmen are there to pick him up because he was hanging out with his friends again. (Which they consider them as plebians). Carmen even makes fun of Roy's costume and tells him he could have worn something else, much to Roy's chagrin. Before they leave, Roy decides to give Ross and Robert some of the candy his mother bought as an apology gift and to make up for their lost candy. As they drive off, the two-wave goodbye showing that all is forgiven.
Later that night, Pump and Skid happily sing a song while they walk down the sidewalk and dance a bit too. Then they have another encounter with Bob Velseb again. After providing another creepy fact to the kids, the two are confused what he meant by that, and they believe Bob wants to play hide and seek with them. Bob agrees and offers them more candy if they win. Bob start counting but peeks and starts chasing after them before reaching to 10. Pump and Skid hide inside a meat locker behind the "Boys 'n Grills" restaurant. Bob continuously stabs several pieces of meat inside the locker, but Pump and Skid successfully manages to outrun him. They head back outside to a distraught Lila and Jaune who are happy and relieved to see them ok. But when the two mention that they were playing hide and seek with Bob, they immediately freak out, especially after noticing him in the distance. They quickly walk across the street (looking both ways first) and they notice that Bob isn't doing the same thing as they were doing. (Looking both ways before crossing). And therefore, he is run over by Jack and John with their police vehicle. Several trick or treaters applaud the two officers for running over Bob believing to be a show. The two officers are finally relieved that their mission is done and that they can take Pump, Skid, Juane, and Lila home while also preparing to take Bob's corpse to Patty. However, when they went to retrieve Bob's body, he disappears! Turns out, he isn't dead, and he tries to attack the passengers in the back of the police car. But he is quickly stopped by Jack and John who shoot him repeatedly till their sure he's dead. But unfortunately, Bob manages to survive the gunshots, because when Jack and John get back into their police car, Bob attempts to attack the group once more by climbing on top of the car with knives. Jack uses the car to run him over again and with that, Bob is finally defeated.
Pump returns home safe and sound with a sack of the candy he and Skid got. Susie is quite surprise to see so much candy and their grandfather Mr. Wonder is proud of him for getting so much. Skid and Lila are dropped off next and Lila thanks Jack and John for helping them. Just before they drive off, Juane then requests the two if they could help find her son Ross as she doesn't know his whereabouts and is worried. As Lila and Skid enter their home, Skid asks Lila how she celebrated Halloween when she was younger. Lila happily proceeds to show her son some pictures of her when she was kid, but that's when Skid notices Bob in the background and asks if she played hide and seek with him too. Lila becomes horrified upon realizing this and quickly tears up the picture out of shock. Skid then makes his mom feel better by giving her a lollipop and suggest they watch a horror movie.
The episode ends with Lila looking back at the picture on the floor, worrying if the man in the picture was truly Bob or not. Before turning her head back to continue watching the movie.
