Deadly Smiles is the fourth episode in the Spooky Month series.
Official description[]
The kids are happy to play games, but some fellows are not as happy as them.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Skid and the Happy Fella watching the Happy Fella show. Lila talks to Jaune on the phone, showing her dislike towards the Happy Fella. Lila needs to head to work and brings Skid to Pump's home. Mr. Wonder greets Lila, and Skid runs straight toward Pump. Mr. Wonder tells them to not get into any trouble before going to sleep.
Skid suggests that the duo start drawing pictures, but Pump claims to not own any. Pump says he can ask Susie for crayons. Susie declines Pump's request. This does not stop the Spooky Kids, as they sneak into Susie's room. Meanwhile, the Happy Fella grabs a knife from Pump's kitchen, approaches Mr. Wonder's recliner, and starts violently stabbing the chair. Skid finds the Happy Fella and brings him to draw. In Pump's room, Skid draws the three being possessed by Moloch, Pump draws The Eyes Of The Universe sucking their souls, and the Happy Fella draws himself killing Skid and Pump. The Happy Fella reveals he can talk and suggests that they play the Knife Game. Skid and Pump close their eyes for the rules of the game, and the Happy Fella approaches them. Susie interrupts their game sees the Happy Fella with the knife and takes it away.
The duo decides to go to the movie theater, and they find Rick working there. He permits them to go to a kids' film, but they go to a horror film instead. The Happy Fella tells Skid he wants to use the bathroom, but Skid says he will miss the best part. The Happy Fella goes away anyways to the front of the theater, where Frank sees him, thinking he is a child. He scoops up the Happy Fella from two homeless people. He opens up his kidnapping sack, seeing the Happy Fella in his wide-eyed doll form, before revealing himself and biting Frank's finger. He punches the Happy Fella into a police car, and John and Jack bring the Fella to the station, where he is ready to murder the fat and thin thief. He is stopped by Jack, and he and John drives the Fella to the Candy Club while not knowing that a Cultist was watching them, telling Kevin to give the Fella to any kid that asks for it. He brings it in before the lights go out. Kevin sees the Fella in the doorway, standing still in fright. He runs, and the Fella catches up to him, stabbing him in the leg with a candy cone on a stick, before he traps the Fella in a bucket, and throws him to the back. Skid and Pump enter the store when they see Kevin with a wound on his leg. Pump grabs a Bubble Band-Aid, and puts it on Kevin's leg. Kevin thanks Pump for attempting to heal the wound, and Skid tells Kevin what he was there for. He becomes furious after being told that the Fella was theirs but eventually lets it go, not caring about it anymore. Skid and Pump go to the back. before encountering the Hatzgang, with Roy telling Skid and Pump to take off their clothes for the doll. Ross, Robert, and the Happy Fella (and even the subtitles to some extent) yell at Roy, with Roy telling them that he means their coats.
Skid and Pump soon arrive at Pump's house, freezing without their sweaters. Susie tells them to go to the couch as she makes them hot chocolate. Lila arrives to pick up Skid, and Pump asks if he can come with them. Lila and Susie agree, and they go to Skid's house. When they arrive, Skid tells the Fella that he will not lose him anymore and they will be together forever. After hearing this, the Fella starts yelling at them, and Lila comes into the room, asking what the screaming is about. She is frightened, seeing the Fella yelling at her and standing up. Skid tells the Fella to not talk to his mom like that.
The kids start realizing all the mean things the Fella has done to them, and get angry. The Fella tells them to tell that to his face, and Lila sees the knife behind the Happy Fella and scoops up the kids. After a chase montage, Lila comes up with a plan. Skid and Pump distract the Fella, and Lila stabs him in the head. The Fella tells her that he is a doll and that he cannot die. Skid and Pump push the Fella into an oven, and he melts. Jaune comes in and has another Happy Fella for Pump. Lila orders her to throw it in the oven after it too comes alive. After the two Fellas are burnt to a crisp, they go to drink spoiled milk. The final scene reveals that a cannibal has escaped prison, and is on the loose.
Screamer Ending:
After the credits finish, Ooga Booga Show’s a doll while screaming “Ooga Booga while saying:Did she scared the viewers however the Doll talked saying Ooga Booga. She got scared and dropped the doll saying it was all scary before she cuts off jump scaring the viewer while laughing.
Real Ending:
After the credits finish, The scene shows a Red string Board that’s related to the Cultists. John looks at the board as he drinks the dirty Mug, Jack comes in and asked how they’re doing, Jack sees the John’s mug and saying the cup is dirty while saying that he’ll get sick, John shrugs it off saying that he doesn’t have time to be sick. He Ask his deputy if they know who owns the house, Jack answer No while saying that the house is Really Old, after what Jack said John says that that’s their next Goal. However A Cult Member was staring at them, when John looks back, the Cultist is gone, Jack asked what happened, John answer that there someone was spying on them. Jack said that He is getting sick, John immediately glares at him, Jack thinks that John is just stressed, Jack decides that they should “Go nuts for donuts” John says alright as he tells him to keep an eye out. Jack agrees with a “Sure sure” as they left while turning off the lights, a Lone Cult Member walks in, he stares at the board, while accidentally tripped, it gets back up while Lighting a Match while burning the evidence causing him to got caught in the fire in the process as he runs away.Cast[]

- Ironically, this episode was posted on Christmas Eve 2021.
- In the back alley of where the homeless people, who are references to Tankman and Steve from the Tankman series. There's also a Pico, Strawberry Clock, and an Alien Hominid plush from their respective Newgrounds series, a pile of meat which a reference to Meatboy, Isaac from Binding Of Isaac drawn on a cardboard box, the Newgrounds logo on a box, Elain from Elain the Bounty Hunter and Elain Gets Adopted, and missing poster of a grunt from Madness Combat.
- Additionally, when playing the knife game, one can see Courage the Cowardly Dog, a jar of Day-Plo, a Furby, and a Glommer from Don't Starve on the shelves behind Skid and Pump.
- This episode has the least amount of times the characters did the Spooky Dance. (Being done only twice).
