Robert is a major recurring character in the Spooky Month series, debuting in Spooky Month 2 - The Stars.
He is a member of the Hatzgang, who frequently have encounters with Skid and Pump. Robert is the most hyperactive and excitable member of the group who, alongside Ross, tries to keep Roy and his negative traits in-check.
Biography
Spooky Month 2 - The Stars
Roy first appears alongside the rest of the Hatzgang, stopping Skid and Pump on the sidewalk outside of Mr. Wonder's house. After Roy calls the two "losers," Robert spits on them and stomps on their feet alongside Ross. Once Skid and Pump say that it is 'spooky month,' he and Ross get excited and begin to do the Spooky Dance behind Roy. After Skid and Pump run off to the mansion on the hill, Roy remarks that "that's where [his] uncle takes [him]," which causes Robert to take an uncomfortable step to the side.
Not long after, Robert is seen with Ross talking to Roy about how immoral his uncle is, something that Roy doesn't seem to understand. The trio are interrupted by Skid and Pump, who are riding atop the Eyes of the Universe. After the Hatzgang all turn to look at it, they are hypnotized, which Skid and Pump misinterpret as them "having fun." Skid, Pump, and the Eyes then leave to get candy.

Spooky Month 3 - Unwanted Guest=== Robert appears outside of Eden Hospital alongside the other Hatzgang members, where he begins shivering upon seeing Skid and Pump. After Roy yells at the duo for a second, he turns around to see why he and Ross are shaking. Robert and Ross remined him about what happened last time they tormented Skid and Pump, which causes Roy to freeze for a moment. Once Roy points out the Happy Fella doll that Skid and Pump are dragging around, Robert gets very excited and jittery, remarking that the doll is cool and that his sister has one of them.
Presumably, Robert did not partake in the beating of Skid and Pump afterwards.
Spooky Month 4 - Deadly Smiles
Robert is seen alongside the other Hatzgang members in the middle of the episode, where they are in the process of leaving CandyClub after getting sweets. After Kevin notices that Roy had stuffed some candy into his sweatshirt, he yells at the Hatzgang. Roy tells Ross and Robert to run, and they escape.
A few minutes later, Robert and the others are chilling in the back alley of CandyClub, where they find a Happy Fella doll walking up to and laughing at a cat. The Hatzgang briefly question why it is alive, but Skid and Pump walk up to them and ask for the doll back, explaining that they had lost it earlier. Roy immediately begins to taunt them with it, and Robert begins to do so, but Roy snatches it from his hand and begins to taunt the duo with it. After Roy tells Skid and Pump to "give [him] their clothes" in exchange for the doll, Robert begins to yell at him alongside Ross and the Happy Fella, which causes Roy to clarify that he's talking about their winter sweaters. The Hatzgang is not seen again for the rest of the episode.
Spooky Month 5 - Tender Treats
Robert is seen in the middle of the episode, explaining to Roy that he should've brought a costume so they can trick-or-treat for his little sister. Robert suggests Roy get a costume where they currently are, which causes him to steal some costume pieces from a couple of trick-or-treaters who were walking past at that moment. Roy declares himself a "rapper," which Robert says isn't scary.
Skid and Pump then walk past the Hatzgang, carrying a giant box of sweets they got from CandyClub. Roy stops them with the intention of stealing it, Roy stops them with the intention of stealing it, but is pulled away by Ross. While they are talking, Robert asks Skid and Pump if they could take some of the candy for his sister, who is currently sick and can't trick-or-treat. After they agree, Robert, Ross, and Roy take some candy, and the duo leave.
The Hatzgang prepare to leave to find more candy, but are ambushed by Bob Velseb, who was following Skid and Pump. He threatens them with a knife, and the three offer their newly-acquired candy as peace offerings, which he takes and walks away with. Robert gets angry at losing all the candy, but Ross comforts him and says they can get more. Before they can leave, Roy's parents pull up in a limousine and begin to chew out their son, which Robert watches in silence. Once inside the limo, Roy throws Ross and Robert the bag of candy his parents had gotten from CandyClub earlier, and Robert excitedly waves as he is driven away.
Spooky Month 6 - Hollow Sorrows
Robert is first seen during a montage where Skid and Pump are goofing around. He, alongside Ross, is talking with Roy about something serious when Skid and Pump run up and poke Roy on the cheek, and telling him he is "it" like a game of tag. Roy gets infuriated and lunges at them, but Ross and Robert restrain him before he can do any damage, which causes Skid and Pump to leave.
He is seen with the other Hatzgang members again in the middle of the episode. After Father Gregor tells Skid and Pump that they should be nice to everyone, regardless of how they are treated, the duo see the Hatzgang and run over to them so they can apologize for earlier. The two of them again interrupt Roy while he is being sincere, which again angers him, but Ross and Robert restrain him again. After Skid and Pump apologize, Ross and Robert tell them that they hadn't done anything wrong, but Roy disagrees with them. Skid tells him that it's okay, and they appreciate him regardless, which causes Ross and Robert to question what he had done to them since they never act that way. In retaliation, Roy goes to beat them up before he can be stopped, although Robert tries to tell him not to. Roy asks if Ross and Robert are happy now, which causes them to yell at him. Robert then tries and fails to get Roy to apologize, and Skid and Pump leave.
Robert makes a final appearance during the ending montage of Moloch rampaging through the town, where the demon possesses Roy. Father Gregor quickly exorcizes him, and then runs off with Skid and Pump to continue pursuing him. Robert places a hand on Roy's shoulder, and watches them all run off.

Casual
Robert is a tall boy, ranging from 14-16 years old, with an oval-shaped face. He has fluffy caramel-colored hair, and wears a backwards-facing blue baseball cap. His eyes are often drawn with as semicircles, with a strong eyebrow line that droops downwards and dark lines underneath them, and he is often depicted with a comically large smile. He also has a mole under his right eye. He wears a greenish-blue sweatshirt with a large zipper, and a pair of light blue pants with black shoes.
Winter
Robert's winter outfit is basically the same as his normal one, but with a light blue ushanka instead of his normal baseball cap. He is also wearing a pair of caramel-colored gloves.
Halloween
In Spooky Month 5, Robert is dressed as a mad scientist. The outfit consists of a very light blue lab coat with large black gloves, and large black boots with yellow soles. He is also no longer wearing his baseball cap, and instead has a pair of lab goggles on his forehead.
In Spooky Month - Tender Treats, his costume is akin to a mad scientist, with goggles, black gloves, a long white lab coat and black & yellow boots.
Personality
Of the Hatzgang members, Robert is defined by his excitable nature. He is often hyper and energetic, and will often blurt out phrases whenever he gets hyped up, the most notable being his catchphrase, "that's so freakin' cool!" Even something as simple as seeing Skid and Pump with a Happy Fella can excite him, just because his little sister has one. Robert does show other emotions though, most notably fear when faced with the Eyes of the Universe and Bob Velseb (an eldritch horror and serial killer, respectively), and being angered when called a plebeian by Carmen or whenever Roy harasses Skid and Pump. He was most angry when Roy told Skid and Pump to "give [him] their clothes," and tried to explain to Roy that what his uncle was doing to him was wrong, showing that he has a limit to what actions someone can take before he gives up one them.
While Robert did used to bully Skid and Pump, as seen in Spooky Month 2, he has long since outgrown that habit and has good relations with them. He constantly tries to get Roy to leave them alone, holding him back or pulling him away whenever possible. In Spooky Month 4, he immediately tries to give them their Happy Fella back as soon as they ask, and in Spooky Month 5 he politely asks for some of their candy rather than just taking it. Still, he deeply cares for Roy and is frequently seen trying to comfort him whenever possible, and often reassures him that everything will be fine and that he is always there for him.
Robert seems to care deeply for his family, best showcased in Spooky Month 5 where he goes trick-or-treating for his little sister, who was sick at the time. He gets genuinely angry after Bob Velseb takes all of his candy, since he had intended to give most, if not all, of it to her.
Trivia
- During the creation of Spooky Month 2, Robert was originally named Tom. This was changed by Spooky Month 3, to better fit in with the other Hatzgang members having names that start with R.[1]
- According to a now-deleted Tweet, Robert was possibly 14.[2]
- In Halloween art drawn by Sr Pelo, Robert dressed up as a werewolf.[3]
- Originally in Spooky Month 5, Robert was supposed to fake cry in front of Skid and Pump in order to trick them into giving him candy for his sister.
- Robert has had more voice actors than any other Spooky Month character, at three.
- Many people headcanon that Robert has ADHD or autism due to his easily excitable nature. After seeing Skid and Pump's Happy Fella doll in Spooky Month 3 he begins to shake his hands, which some have interpreted as him stimming.
- Unlike most other child characters in the series, Robert is usually drawn with fingers.
- Strangely, despite staring at the Eyes of the Universe, Robert's eyes don't glow while in the presence of something demonic. This can be seen in Spooky Month 6, when Moloch runs up the Hatzgang and possesses Roy.
- Whether this is meant to be important or is just an oversight is unknown.
- He is the only member of the Hatzgang to not have either of his parents show up on screen during the entire series.
- In a Spooky Month fan server, Sr Pelo has stated in a Q&A:

- He has dark eye bags because he sleeps late.[5]
- Robert tries his best on school tests, and his grades are likely to be around 71% (or the C letter grade range in most schools).[6]
