Patricia "Patty" Azure is a supporting character in the Spooky Month series, debuting in Spooky Month 3 - Unwanted Guest.
She is a forensic pathologist who works in Eden Hospital's morgue, and is semi-frequently terrorized by Skid and Pump during their 'spooky month' escapades. She seems to work alongside Jack and John often, as evidenced by her comfort around them. After being given the body of a demon-possessed exterminator to dissect, she was possessed by Moloch and used as his temporary host. After being exorcised by Father Gregor, she decides she has had enough of her job, and tells Jack and John that she intends to be a police officer.

Spooky Month 3 - Unwanted Guest[]
After Skid and Pump arrive at Eden Hospital due to playing dead, they sneak into the morgue for no apparent reason. Patty is there and scolds them, at which point they unsuccessfully try and convince her that it is 'spooky month,' even demonstrating the Spooky Dance to her. This causes multiple corpses in the morgue to reanimate, and they temporarily dance to Thriller. Patty is initially frightened by this, but once she realizes they aren't doing anything harmful, she informs them that it is June, which causes them to drop dead again.
Spooky Month 5 - Tender Treats[]
Patty appears early in the episode, having been invited by Mayor Evermore into his office. She explains the current situation to Jack and John, informing them about the serial killer Bob Velseb, who had escaped from prison earlier in the year. She sarcastically compliments them for doing a "good job" at finding him, when he had killed and dismembered eight people already.
She appears again in the Newgrounds ending of the episode, writing something down in a file about Dexter Erotoph. Jack and John arrive, having been called by Patty after she found a Cultist amulet inside of the recently deceased Bob Velseb's chest. After Jack props up Bob Velseb's corpse to scare John, causing him to repeatedly shoot it, Patty scolds him. She is then left between the two while they argue, sighing to herself.
Spooky Month 6 - Hollow Sorrows[]
Patty appears right at the beginning of the episode, being watched by Moloch as she is in the process of dissecting Dexter Erotoph's body, which he is currently possessing. Not long after, Skid and Pump sneak into the morgue again and begin messing with a body, which causes Patty to usher them out. Afterwards, the power cuts out, which causes her to say that whoever is in there should get out, only to be shocked by an ominous figure rising above her. Seemingly angered by the sight of Skid and Pump, Moloch proceeds to possess Patty.
Jack and John arrive soon after, intending on collecting Dexter's body from her like they had been ordered to by Mayor Evermore. The two find "Patty" standing in the far corner by herself, and after she turns to look at them, they leave to wait in their car. "Patty" eventually leaves the morgue, but stops to look at a room filled with newborn children, breathing heavily at the sight. She is interrupted by the arrival of Michelle, who is attempting to find her doctor for a checkup. "Patty" offers to help her find them, and takes her back to the morgue, where she kills her.
The morgue is visited by Mort Vivifico, who originally went to ask Patty if she had finished preparing the body like Mayor Evermore ordered. He sees the room destroyed and bloodied, and says that she is in trouble, before closing the door to leave, revealing "Patty" hiding behind it. Soon after, the morgue is visited again, this time by the trio of Skid, Pump, and Father Gregor, who had come to apologize to Patty for their earlier actions. Instead, Father Gregor realizes that she is possessed by a demon, and removes Skid and Pump from the area before beginning to set up an exorcism.
Father Gregor is interrupted after Skid and Pump sneak back in, at which point "Patty" tries to trick him into lowering his guard and giving her the children. When Father Gregor doesn't fall for it, she attempts to attack him, but eventually has Moloch exorcised from her body after being doused with enough holy water and prayers. After Moloch's full form is revealed and he asks for the children, Patty tells Father Gregor to hand them over, presumably still annoyed by their antics from earlier, which gets her temporarily berated. She watches the rest of the encounter play out, culminating in Moloch destroying a wall and running into the town.
Patty leaves the hospital and finds Jack and John still parked outside. She tells them that she's going to be a police officer, which shocks them. John tells her that they need her, but she says that she "needs to have a gun legally," which causes John to attempt to dissuade her again. She is not seen for the rest of the episode.

Appearance[]
Patty is an adult woman, seemingly somewhere in her 30s and is slightly overweight. She has a round head with messy blonde hair, eyes that are most commonly seen half-lidded, and several freckles across her cheeks and where her nose would be. In all of her appearances so far, she has been seen in her work uniform, which consists of light blue hospital scrubs, a light blue surgical cap, gloves and a face mask colored a darker blue, and black pants and shoes. While wearing her face mask, it has two creases in it that emote like a mouth would.
Personality[]
Patty seems to be defined by two main traits: disinterest and frustration. While she doesn't seem completely hollow like Rick Hedony, she hasn't shown proper excitement at anything throughout the entire series. Even after two children broke into her morgue and tried to get her to dance, she just stared at them in silent disbelief. Patty seems to be silently frustrated by a lot of things, which mostly boiled over in Spooky Month 6. She told Father Gregor to give two children to a literal demon after he asked, just because she was tired of them interrupting her work, and after she was left alone, the first thing she did was go to Jack and John to tell them that she intended to quit her job and become a cop just so she could legally own a gun.
Trivia[]
- It was revealed in Spooky Month 6 that Patty's full name is Patricia Azure, as seen on the sign outside of Eden Hospital's morgue.
- Some people have theorized that Patty is a mother because of a picture hanging outside of the morgue that reads "THX 4 SHOWIN MOM!" It is more likely that it is a joke about Patty showing a child the corpse of their mother, since the picture says "thanks for showing mom" and not "thanks for showing, Mom."
