Mr. Wonder is a supporting character in the Spooky Month series, debuting in Spooky Month 2 - The Stars.
He is the paternal grandfather of Pump and Susie, who is currently serving as their legal guardian because of their parents constantly being away for work.
Biography[]
Spooky Month 2 - The Stars[]
Mr. Wonder makes only a small appearance in this episode. Skid and Pump knock on his door and scare him by jumping out from behind it, only to tell him that it is spooky month. Mr. Wonder then does the Spooky Dance, and the children leave.
Spooky Month 4 - Deadly Smiles[]
Because Lila needs to take something to her boss, she takes Skid to Pump's house so someone can watch him. Mr. Wonder answers the door for the two, and agrees to take care of him for a little bit. He then sits down in his chair, and tells the duo to not cause any trouble. Eventually, he falls asleep.
A few minutes later, while he is sleeping, the Happy Fella doll begins to stab his chair in an attempt to satisfy his murderous "needs." Before the doll can cause any serious harm, he is pulled away by Skid so they can draw. Oblivious to what just happened, Mr. Wonder wakes up and shuffles away, apparently having "pooped again."
Spooky Month 5 - Tender Treats[]
Mr. Wonder appears near the end of the episode after Pump returns home from trick-or-treating. Sitting on his chair, he congratulates Pump on all the candy he collected, patting him on the head.
Spooky Month 6 - Hollow Sorrows[]
After Lila calls the Wonder household to let them know that she's going to bring Skid over, Mr. Wonder hears Pump wrongfully believe that he was called by his mom and dad. When Pump gets disappointed that it's not them, Mr. Wonder leaves the house to get him a present to make him feel better.
Mr. Wonder appears again at the end of the episode, after Pump returns him from his misadventures. He walks in and hands him and Susie a present, saying that their parents sent it. Pump happily tears it open, overjoyed that his parents sent a gift, while Mr. Wonder walks away to sit down. Susie sees the receipt for the present in his back pocket, and questions to herself what the point is if they still aren't there.

Appearance[]
Mr. Wonder is an elderly man, seemingly somewhere in his 60s. He has a round head that is mostly bald except for a semicircle of grey hair going around the back. He has large ears, heavy eye bags, wrinkles around his mouth, and three black splotches on his scalp. He wears a red sweater vest with a long-sleeved peach undershirt, and a pair of brown pants with black shoes.
Personality[]
Mr. Wonder is a tired, soft spoken old man who deeply cares about his family. When he heard that Pump was sad about his parents not calling, he left the house just to buy him a present in an attempt to cheer him up. While he did lie to Pump and Susie, telling them that it was from their parents, he only did this in an attempt to make them feel less hopeless. Photographs hanging around his home show that he also loves his son dearly.
Because of his age, Mr. Wonder seems unable to properly keep up with the world around him, especially his grandson and grandson's friend. Although he is happy to babysit Skid when Lila is busy, he spends most of the time in his chair, which often means that Susie does more caretaking than he does. He also seems to be scared easily, since Skid and Pump popping out from behind his door caused him to clutch his heart and breath heavily from shock.

- Mr. Wonder used to be the town's mailman, which is how he met Pump and Susie's grandmother.[2]
