Jaune is a major supporting character in Spooky Month by Sr. Pelo. She is Lila's best friend, and her drinking buddy[1] as well as mother of Ross[2].
She is portrayed by Lizzie Freeman.
Biography[]
Spooky Month - Deadly Smiles[]
During the begining of the episode, she's talking with Lila about the Happy Fella Doll and how different her son was acting ever since he started to share it with his friend, even though neither we can see her or hear her voice. She tells Lila that he's a kid.
She appears near the end of the episode with the intent to help Lila and Skid by getting another Happy Fella for Pump, so that the kids do not need to share a single doll. Unfortunately, that doll comes to life, seemingly possessed by Dexter's spirit after the first Happy Fella is destroyed, and it ends up getting thrown into the oven. Jaune and Lila then share spoiled milk together, then interrupted by the kids asking if they can drink too; which she responds "Yes!".
Spooky Month - Tender Treats[]
Lila calls Jaune after spotting Bob stalking her out on the streets. At first, Jaune jokes that Lila is 'finally trying out something new', to which Lila insists that it's a serious matter. Soon after, Lila drops the phone line in fear after Bob confronts her in the house, leaving Jaune on hold. It is implied Jaune called John and Jack to Lila's house after this incident.
Lila and Jaune finally find Skid and Pump, but then encounter Bob once more. They are saved after John and Jack, whom run over Bob, and then decide to hitch a ride in their police car to get back home. However, they are attacked once again in the car by Bob through the window, whilst the policemen are distracted outside. Once Bob is finally defeated by being shot and ran over several times, Lila, Skid and Pump are dropped off at their respective homes, leaving Jaune still in the back of the police car. Jaune worriedly asks John and Jack if they could search for her son, Ross in light of recent events.
Spooky Month - Hollow Sorrows[]
Fast foward to the episode, she calls Lila as she is watching a excorist movie with her husband, asking how she's doing. After hearing how stressful Lila is she offers her to go drinking and says that she'll pay, which Lila accepts to, she then hangs up the phone and elbow bumps Aaron, saying that he'll be their 'Driving Servant' and that he owns her one.
Jaune is then seen prior to the end of the episode, she and Aaron drops off Lila to her home. She's suprised to see Father Gregor coming out of Lila's house. She then frowns at Father Gregor, crossing her arms angrily after he tells Lila off. When Pump asks Lila if she can take him home, Jaune tells Pump that she can take her home instead and picks him up. She then waves at Lila with a smile, her face then turning upset after seeing Pump in tears as she turns around and gets into the car with the kid in her arms.

Appearance[]
Her mouth forms a v-shape similar to her son Ross'. She has spiky blonde hair that is often styled in a short ponytail, tied back by a yellow scrunchie. When it's down, her hair falls a little way past her shoulders.
In her normal outfit, Jaune sports a loose, yellow, wide-necked shirt over a pair of pale-yellow shorts that go to her mid-thigh. Her shorts are layered over a pair black tights or leggings. Like most other Spooky Month characters, she wears black shoes. She also wears a light-yellow pearl necklace. Without her tights and shoes, she wears a pair of yellow socks that are the same color as her shirt. In her winter outfit, she wears a brown jacket with fluffy, possible sherpa lining that pokes out of the bottom of the jacket as well as on the collar. She still wears her black tights and shoes. In her lazy outfit, she wears her same yellow shirt as well as a pair of pale-yellow sweatpants that are the same color as her usual shorts.
Personality[]
Jaune is shown to be supportive and generous, notably when she brought an extra Happy Fella Doll for Skid and Pump, despite not knowing what the duo and Lila had just gone through right before she showed up. Fitting into her role of Lila's best friend, she greatly cares about the well-being of her and Skid, as she was immediately ready to help her find the latter and Pump after realizing a murderous cannibal was chasing them.
She seems to have a rather odd sense of humor. This is indicated when Lila tells her that a man is at the door of her house and Jaune initially mistakes it for her wanting to hook up, before getting cut off and corrected by the former.
Similar to Lila, Jaune lets her son, Ross, freely go out to spend time with his with friends. Both mothers seem to hold good responsibility for their kids, as they always return home safe, so they naturally trust their kids to go out by themselves. Jaune is also very caring towards her son, as she asked John and Jack if they could find him after the jarring experience she and the others had with Bob Velseb.

- Her name is French for "yellow" which is presumably why her clothing and hair are different shades of yellow.
- It was revealed by Sr. Pelo in a doodle dump on twitter that Jaune holds an extreme hatred for Roy's mother, Carmen.
- Jaune and Lila were friends since childhood. This is seen in an old photograph that Lila shows Skid at the end of Tender Treats.
- According to Pelo, Jaune has a more "carefree" job, like something related to socializing.
