The Fat Thief is an unnamed thief who tried to burglarize Skid's house in The Stars. He is also partners in crime with Thin Thief.

After being caught by Lila and arrested, he and his fellow inmate were almost attacked by the Happy Fella in prison before it was interrupted by Jack.

He also appears in the True Ending of The Stars, in the back of the police car.

Biography

The Stars

He and Thin Thief appear when they break into Skid's house to get "the stuff," before Skid is downstairs and spots them. Both get freaked out after thinking Skid was an actual skeleton, Fat Thief showing some relief when it's revealed to be a child. Skid assumes that they are there because it is a spooky month, in which Fat Thief responds by doing the spooky dance. Skid leaves the room and both thieves think they are safe until Lila comes downstairs from the noise, Thin Thief then does the spooky dance to presumably distract her. At the end of the episode both are shown to be arrested by Jack. They both spot Skid and Pump waving and dancing at them, Fat Thief happily gives the wave and dance back despite being cuffed. He and Thin Thief also appear in the Newgrounds ending of the episode as they're in the back of the police car with Jack and John when John points out the The Eyes of the Universe at the house on the hill. John states that there are weird things happening in the town, which Fat Thief replies that it's the spooky month. Both he and Jack do the spooky dance and crash into Ooga Booga.

Deadly Smiles

The duo appear in jail as they're talking about what Fat Thief means with his "You move the x to the other side and then you have the answer!" line before they get distracted by their cell door opening because of Dexter Erotoph as the happy fella. Fat Thief is excited by him until the doll pulls out a knife, in which both of them get scared and scream. It led to Jack spotting them along with the happy fella and pocket knife, motioning for them to turn around as he locked the door.

Spooky Month - Tender Treats

He and the Thin Thief had been mentioned in the newspaper when Mayor Evermore tell Jack and John about Bob Velseb and they escaped together.

Spooky Month - Hollow Sorrows

Both thieves are back in Skid's house as they're looking over a sleeping Lila, looking through different areas until they reach the attic. Fat Thief complains that they'll take forever looking around in the attic as Thin Thief just says to get whatever they can. They begin to bag various objects up until Fat Thief makes contact with the large spider, the alarm goes off as well. They grab their bags as they try to make an escape before getting caught by Lila once again holding her steel ruler and a stun gun. She kicks both of them out and tells them to never return, they do not come back into the episode until the Newgrounds ending where it is revealed they are working with The Candy Dealer and The Cult.

Fat Thief is a chubby man that wears a dark gray ski mask, dark teal jumper, dark gray pants, shoes and a pair of dark gray gloves. During the episode Deadly Smiles, he wears a pillow case with eye and mouth holes cut out, an orange prison inmate jumpsuit, a name tag and black shoes.

Personality

Fat Thief is a very happy-go-lucky man, but is also seen to be a bit of a coward. He is also quite dumb, and sometimes annoying, in contrast to his partner who is a bit wiser and more serious. He also enjoys Spooky Month.
